The CG66 vessel registration scheme is a voluntary safety identification scheme operated by the MCA. The scheme is free
and is available to all small craft owners and skippers.
By registering your craft with your nearest Coastguard Co-ordination centre you have the peace of mind of knowing that
your details are on a database accessible to all Coastguard Co-ordination centres in the UK, giving them the information they
need to mount a search and rescue operation in the event that you become overdue or require assistance in an emergency.
You can register online or simply download the registration form and send it to your nearest Coastguard Co-ordination
centre.
